For security reasons, the family of former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who died on Monday (12) at the age of 86, has decided not to hold a public vigil.
According to sources close to the clan, the body of the former prime minister will remain in Villa San Martino, his home in the city of Arcore, just outside Milan, until the funeral scheduled for next Wednesday (14).
For reasons of public order, access to the property will be exclusive to close family members. The funeral ceremony will take place at the Milan Cathedral and will be attended by political personalities. .
