In the Fire is billed as a supernatural thriller. It’s a costume film set in 1890. It tells the story of a couple who have to confront a local priest who judges that their autistic child is possessed by the devil. In the casting, Amber Heard is surrounded by Eduardo Noriega, Lorenzo McGovern Zayn and especially Luca Calvani.
In the Fire is directed by independent filmmaker Conor Ellyn. In 2020, one of his achievements was uploaded to Netflix, Courage and Rodeo. There is currently no French theatrical release date.
By presenting this film at the Thaormina festival, Amber Heard will break the media silence. This will be his first film promotion since the trial against Johnny Depp.
