A liter of fuel cost R$5.42 in the week of June 4 to 10; the price of diesel dropped by 0.6% in the period
RIO – The price of Gas it broke a four-week streak of declines and closed the week of June 4 to 10 up 4%, with an average price of R$ 5.42 per liter. Already the price of diesel it fell by 0.6%, to an average price of R$ 5.13 per litre.
the price of cooking gas it also yielded, at an average of R $ 104.02 per cylinder, according to a survey by the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
The price of petrol was affected by this month’s change in the ICMS, which became single-phase, charged in a single stage of the chain, and with a uniform and fixed rate per liter of petrol of R$ 1.22. Previously the rate was a percentage per liter, ranging from 17% to 23%, depending on the state.
Ethanol
OR ethanol it only became competitive with gasoline in Mato Grosso and São Paulo during the same period. In the rest of the States and in the Federal District it was even more advantageous to fill up with petrol.
According to an ANP survey carried out by AE-Taxas, in the period ethanol was equal to 70.11% compared to petrol in the average of the stations surveyed in the country, therefore unfavorable compared to the derivative of Petrolium. In Mato Grosso and São Paulo, the parity was 63.75% and 68.93%, respectively.
Industry executives note that ethanol can be competitive even at a parity higher than 70%, depending on the vehicle in which the biofuel is used.
