After Elementary, which will hit our screens very quickly starting June 21, Elio promises to be the next big release from the animation studio. Elio will arrive in France exactly on February 28, 2024.
The first trailer has just been released and it’s breathtaking!
This kid-sized sci-fi film invites us to follow Elio, a dreamy 11-year-old boy who hates playing outside and struggles to fit in. His brilliant and self-confident mother Olga leads a secret military project trying to decode a mysterious signal from space. But Elio surprises everyone by making first contact with aliens. Teleported into space, he is soon taken as our planet’s intergalactic ambassador…
Elio is directed by Adrian Molina, co-director of Coco, which was released in November 2017 and is among the studio’s recent hits.
