Jason Sudeikis, producer and protagonist, assured that season 3 would be the last Ted Lasso, but that doesn’t mean that the doors are permanently closed. This, then, was already an indication that much was to come. Now, according to a recent publication in the Twitterthe rumors are even bigger that something special is going to happen.
Ted Lasso: How did it turn out?
The third season of Ted Lasso it ended with Ted leaving AFC Richmond to return to the US to be closer to his son. This departure meant that the protagonist’s history with London and the club was truly over. However, those who are left will still keep making the team happen.
We see that the coaching staff now consists of Roy Kent, Coach Beard and Nate, who should continue to follow the Ted Lasso formula for coaching players. Rumors of a possible spin-off of the series have also strengthened with the publication of a photo of the trio.
Ted Lasso: Will there be a spin-off?

A fourth season of Ted Lasso it doesn’t make sense, since the character has left England for good and was not present in future scenes that were shown at the end of the season. Therefore, it is much more consistent that the club’s story continues to be told with new managers and a new title.
In a recent interview, Sudeikis even said that the story can continue to be told not only as a spin-off, but perhaps as a book or podcast, but without leaving any concrete clues.
If this indeed happens, it is unknown why Jason Sudeikis left the production to take these new directions. However, in the future, we could see a participation of Ted Lasso in this possible new series.
