This is where it all begins: what awaits you in episode 688 of Friday 16 June 2023 [SPOILERS]

On Friday, June 16, it all starts here…

Axel and Amber sleep together

At Institute Park, Axel approaches Jasmine to apologize. He regrets that he hurt her with his behavior. Jasmin admits that she misses him too, but she’s tired of the arguments. Axel then suggests that they finally meet for the evening, which she happily accepts.

In the amphitheater, Clotilde and Teissier announce the results of the first test, announcing that the students were graded on both the strawberry plant and the sugar sculpture. Thus, the trio of Eliot, Amber and Axel is at the top of the rating with 16/20 points. According to the manager, replacing the eggs with mascarpone made the crème de la frasier very airy and therefore better than the others.

The trio of Hortense, Kelly and Solal gets 15/20 points. Ex-Aequo, the trio of Lionel and Mehdi gets 14/20 points. As for Jude, he scores 12/20. Vic is in last place with 10/20.

Then Lionel, David and Jasmine meet each other in the park. The first year is dishonored for not wowing the judges with their near-perfect sugar sculpture. Lionel admits that they did not bet enough on the strawberry plant. David calculates that they need 20/20 on the next exam that they hope to be Aledictors. He manages to motivate the two partners to accept him.

Meanwhile, Elliot, Amber and Axel are enjoying their victory. At the same time, the 1st grader receives an encouraging message from his uncle, which immediately allows him to release the pressure. Elliott offers to decompress his swamp roommate by throwing a party.

Axel then goes to invite Jasmine to a party. He suggests postponing the date so they can spend the evening with others. Jasmine takes it very badly because it was important for her to have an evening just for the two of them. He feels that he is chasing everyone in his eyes. The tone between Axel and Jasmine rises. It ends in rupture.

In the swamp room, Axel is no longer in the mood to party. He confides in Ethan about his situation and admits that he did wrong with Jasmine. However, he also admits that something is really broken between them. Thanks to the support of his friend, Axel puts his problems aside to celebrate.

Axel dances with a completely drunk Ambre. The young man, who is also a bit shy, admits to her that he really likes her. But Amber refuses him and says that nothing will happen between them.

Later, Amber decides to sleep in the guest bedroom. She crosses paths with Axel, who is still trying to get close, revealing that he left Jasmine before the party. Amber then confesses to him that she has had feelings for him for a long time. However, they both decide that this is not a good idea and begin to drift apart… before falling into each other’s arms and making love…

An influential leader comes to the institute

Arriving at the institute, Lionel and Kelly see chef Mark Leroy, whom they admire. This former professor at the Institute is an adventurer of sorts who has worked particularly at the North Pole as a scientist leader on a mission. Laetitia reveals that she was invited by Teisius, but she knows no more. Lionel and Kelly assume that Leroy has something to do with the surprise that the director has prepared for the students who will become valedictorians.

Mark Leroy arrives at Teisier’s office, one of his only friends. This is how he met Antoine Miriel. In the office, Leroy notices a portrait of Auguste Armani, which he doesn’t really like.

Later, Leroy finds Clotilde, with whom he has a drink on the terrace of the duplex. Joakim passes by them and temporarily joins the conversation. Clotilda takes care of the introduction between the two men. Joachim then notices how complicit and admiring his fellow chef is.

On the way back home, Joachim asks Clotilda about Leroy. He says he was somewhat of a rebellious teacher, the type to shake up the code, which the students really appreciated. He is also admired for the fact that he left the institute as soon as he felt that he had a day, which he failed to do. But Clotilda reassures Joachim: he has no reason to be jealous.

Salome receives a nice proposal for the summer

Everyone’s summer vacation plans are discussed with the swamp roommate. Livio plans to return to Sicily, where his parents want him to change the menu at their hotel, while Salome plans to help her mother at the hotel. Only Gatani is going to stay in Calvier.

At the same time, the latter learns that his cook is leaving him for the day. However, he has a reservation for his birthday, so he can’t leave the coffee shop closed. Gaitan asks Salome for help, but the latter must work for the master on his oral. Livio volunteers to help his friend.

At the Institute, Salome meets Olivia and Claire on the stairs. Chef Listrak, who planned to spend more time with his partner this summer, then offered to replace him in the beginner’s course. Salome promises to think.

Then he takes it to the coffee shop he finds. He questions her to find out what she thought about that internship last year. The young man admits that it helped him a lot. Salome then tells him about the proposal she received from Listrac. Gaitan thinks it would be a very interesting experience for him. Then Salome begins to convince herself.

Later, Gaitan shares a beer with Livio on the beach. He expresses his desire to enjoy the summer season. Livio also suspects that he is looking forward to spending time with Salome. Indeed, he thinks Gaitan should try his luck with him again.
