The wait is almost over for Indiana Jones fans! On June 28, The Dial of Destiny hits screens, marking Harrison Ford’s final appearance as the famous archaeologist.
After its much-hyped debut at the recent Cannes Film Festival, James Mangold’s film continues its promotional tour of the United States. At its American premiere in Los Angeles, Harrison Ford was surprised to be interviewed by Ke Hui Kwan, the actor who played Crescent Moon in The Temple of Doom in 1984.

Jumping around like a naughty child, the actor is then hugged by an Indian translator who joins him in an interview he was giving on the red carpet. “You’ve grown!”, shoots a fun Ford. A beautiful image reminiscent of D23 in October 2022. During this event organized by Disney, Ke Hui Quan has already found Harrison Ford, almost 40 years after The Temple of Doom.

Meanwhile, the unforgettable Demi-Looney won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for “Everything Everywhere at Once.” A real renaissance for the actor, now 51 years old.
“I still remember the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom launch party”said the comedian on the Dial of Destiny red carpet. “I was 12 years old and I had a lot of fun”he added.
As for Harrison Ford, he said that he is very proud and happy about Ke Hui Quan’s Oscar. “I’m really happy for him, he’s a great guy. He was a great actor when he was a kid and he still is, I’m really happy for him.”The 80-year-old comedian emphasized.

Steven Spielberg, director of the first 4 installments in the franchise, was also in attendance at the California screening. On stage, he surprised the audience with the presence of the iconic composer of the saga, John Williams, who came specially to lead the musical orchestra.

As a reminder, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be released in theaters on June 28. It takes us to 1969. After more than a decade of teaching at Hunter College in New York, the esteemed Dr. Jones, professor of archaeology, is about to retire and enjoy his quiet days.
Everything changes after a surprise visit from his goddaughter, Helena Shaw, who is looking for a rare artifact that her father entrusted to Indy years ago: the famous Archimedes dial, a relic that can temporarily detect cracks.
As a successful con artist, Helena steals the object and rushes out of the country to sell it to the highest bidder. Indy has no choice but to follow him. He pulls out his fedora and leather jacket for the last trip.
