Directed in 2007 and loosely adapted from Richard Matheson’s acclaimed sci-fi novel, I Am Legend follows the lonesome misadventures of Will Smith, immersed in a post-apocalyptic New York filled with bloodthirsty mutants ready to devour him at any moment.

It sits on one of the facades of the city.

You admit it: it’s Batman v Superman.

However, I Am Legend was made nearly a decade before Snyder’s film, at a time when Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy was still in full swing and neither Henry Cavill nor Ben Affleck had yet donned their capes.

Contrary to what might be read on the I Am Legend poster, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice It was not released in theaters on May 15, 2010, but on March 23, 2016, with a logo design that was noticeably different from the one seen here.

According to what Francis Lawrence said at the microphone Collider In 2014, a potential use of this poster was suggested to him by screenwriter Akiva Goldsman, who at the time was supposed to be rewriting a version of Batman v Superman, and Warner Bros. (the two feature film production companies) never did. Given his official agreement to this little wink.
