Netflix: We have one of the craziest trailers of the year, and it’s from the makers of Game of Thrones

This is a series that has been talked about a lot in recent months without seeing a single picture. Netflix took advantage of its worldwide event TUDUM and released the first trailer for Trouble with three bodies, a series that can be described as a blockbuster, since the American giant has invested in it. This adaptation of the SF trilogy written by Chinese author Liu Cixin tells the story of humanity’s first contact with an extraterrestrial civilization…

The project was helmed by David Benioff and DB Weiss, two names familiar to Game of Thrones fans as they also worked on the script for the HBO series. And we can tell that the duo was particularly ambitious with this project, which is taking place in several countries and which requires a lot of special effects. The trailer – which doesn’t reveal much – is particularly enticing… especially when it involves aliens.

On the casting side, we recognize two former Game of Thrones actors – John Bradley and Liam Cunningham – as well as Benedict Wong and Jess Hong in these images. If the quality is there next January, Netflix can host its new big hit there.
