After multiple delays, The Flash is finally hitting theaters this Wednesday. From Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League Reimagined, Barry Allen, aka The Flash, now has his own movie rights.
In Andy Muschietti’s feature film, a superhero played by Ezra Miller uses his powers to go back in time and change the past. But his efforts to save his family are not in vain for the future, and Barry finds himself trapped in a reality where General Zod has returned and threatens to destroy the planet. In a race against time to save the world, the Flash is surrounded by Batman, played by Michael Keaton, and Superman.
After Melissa Benoist played Superman’s cousin on the CW series for six years, Sasha Kelle is donning the superhero costume and cape on the big screen. The Colombian-born actor was born in Boston and had multiple castings very early on. He starts off playing a recurring character in the series socially awkward in 2017. Based on this experience, he starred in five short films: Rogue Tiger, White Shoes, Final Stop, Deep Cuts and Young blood.
In 2018, Sasha Kale rose to fame when she joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Lola Rosale Abbott for over 200 episodes! It’s Arturo and Ray’s little sister who sells Cuban sandwiches in a truck and meets a certain Kyle Abbott…
With The Flash, the young actor takes his first notable steps in cinema: “It’s an honor to play Supergirl. I love her with all my heart. I think she’s a different kind of superhero. I think she’s very beautiful, strong, but she’s also complicated like any human, even if she’s an extraterrestrial. I want to say again, it’s a huge honor for her interpretation and I feel proud and privileged to have slipped into the skin of this character and conveyed his emotions.
We’ll soon find him on the poster for On Swift Horses alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones, Jacob Ellord and Will Poulter.
