Tyler Rake on Netflix: Third movie with Chris Hemsworth? We finally have the answer!

Netflix didn’t wait long before announcing the third Tyler Rake movie in production, as the platform released the second just 48 hours ago. It means if it is a successful blockbuster by Chris Hemsworth. The actor has been in camp since 2020 as this Australian special forces mercenary who could take out 10 opponents even while blindfolded.

No other details have been announced about this Tyler Rake 3, but we for one hope that we don’t have to wait 3 years before we see him on our screens again. Several characters are set to return, including Golshifteh Farahan and Idris Elba. The latter appears in the last pictures of the second part and informs the hero that his boss wants to have a relationship with him. We don’t know who he is, but this new character should play a central role in the sequel.

This Tyler Rake 3 will still be directed by Sam Hargrave, who will have to do even better than the last film’s impressive 21-minute sequence in which Hemsworth moves to free the hostages in a prison and ends up fist-pumping in flames. And we’re already wondering what the next step will be.
