Tudum strikes again! The famous Netflix event discussed many of the platform’s flagship films and series, including The Witcher and its highly anticipated Season 3, which will debut on our small screens on June 29.
So for the occasion, a new 2-minute-30 clip from the upcoming season has been released (via ComingSoon ). The latter sees the legendary trio of Geralt (Henry Cavill), Yennefer (Anna Chalotra) and Ciri (Freya Allan) battling the enemy with a few friends, including the precious Jasquier (Joey Butt). On the program: perfect swordsmanship, magic and agility, a beautiful fox and using portals to protect yourself. You can find the extract below:
What is season 3 about?
Season 3 Witcher It will be divided into two parts. The premiere, which consists of episodes one through five, will be released on Netflix on June 29. Meanwhile, the second, consisting of episodes six through eight, will debut on the platform about a month later on July 27.
This season, the continent’s monarchs, mages, and beasts battle to conquer Ciri, who Geralt has spent underground to protect his newly reunited family from those who threaten to destroy it. Charged with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Arethusa, where they hope to discover more of the girl’s untapped power. But big surprises await them there.
As you know, the next season will be the last Henry Cavill was going to pass the torch to Liam Hemsworth. But the actor must first have the right to a heroic farewell show.
Just to catch you up before Season 3 arrives, the first two seasons of The Witcher can be streamed exclusively on Netflix.
