Dogs are everywhere in cinema, and sometimes they even occupy so much space that their name serves as the title of the film in which they appear. Here are some examples.
In 1992, Brian Levant’s film Beethoven was released, which told the story of the Newton family, which seems to have everything for happiness. However, he feels that something is missing. This lack will be filled by a puppy that has just escaped from the clutches of dog abductors. The Newtons christened him Beethoven, and he quickly reached adult size and weighed 85 kilograms!
Meanwhile, Dr. Warnick, a sinister veterinarian, secretly develops products that require experiments on dogs. And sadly, the beloved St. Bernard is on the vets list…
A few years earlier, another St. Bernard appeared on the big screen, this one much less friendly, from the world of novelist Stephen King. It’s about Cujo, a dog who is bitten by a rabid bat one day and then goes crazy and dangerous, attacking and killing several people. That’s when Donna and her son Tad find themselves trapped in their broken-down car, with a dog ready to make short work of them.
Finally, on a lighter note, we could mention the French comedy TrĂ©sor. The story of Jean-Pierre and Nathalie, a couple who have been in love for four years. To celebrate this birthday, Jean-Pierre gives his girlfriend an unexpected gift, a three-month-old English bulldog. Nathalie is overjoyed and christens him a bear. The relationship between him and the animal is instantly fused and Tresor makes the bedroom his territory and reigns supreme there, to the point where the couple’s relationship is threatened.
We also find dogs on movie posters. The evidence for these seven is magnified with dogs, of which you have to try to find on which posters you can see them.
