Feileman, from joke to film
It all started in January 2021 with the video “We Call Random People”, a very popular concept by McFly and Carlito, featuring Pierre Nin. The principle is simple: they have to take turns answering general knowledge questions, and if they are wrong, they have to randomly call one of their contacts and give them a gift, that is, force them to believe a story or a fiction. a joke
During this video, Pierre Nini had to call “Pacotte”, a French film production manager, to give him an idea for the script. McFly starts the project idea on a blank sheet of paper and Pierre Nin transforms it into a French superhero disguised as a sheet:
“He’s a leaf man. It’s the story of a boy who has the weight of a leaf. Suddenly he throws himself off the top of buildings.”This is how Pierre Nini presented the idea “pretty crazy” To the production manager of this film.
He even mentioned some “Verwoman, Worm Woman” In a conversation where he confided that he did not want to face the project and that the producer should dampen the enthusiasm of the duo of YouTubers.
This passage of the video was obviously picked up everywhere after its release and was especially praised by fans of McFly and Carlito, as well as Pierre Nini, who were waiting for only one thing: that this movie would actually see the light of day. Some illustrators and designers have come up with fake posters that they have posted on their networks.

We’ll have to wait a year before we hear Feuille Man, in February 2022. It’s through McFly’s Instagram post that we learn the film is in writing. “The 3 of us is a great story, the 3 of us, on the same level of equality hehe. Joking aside, the writing is progressing with Florent Bernard.”

The YouTuber apparently announced that Feilemann’s script was in development and that the trio had enlisted the help of Florent Bernard, as well as Flaubert, a French director and screenwriter. This former member of the Golden Mustache collective has worked on Bloqués and La Flamme, and he hosts FloodCast.
Pierre Nini also raised the issue The Popcorn Show where he explained that everyone was talking to him about Feileman: “Feileman, it’s really absurd, because I spent three years at the National Conservatoire, five years at the Comédie Française, and the role that people talk to me about the most is actually Feileman.”.
He also commented on the photo published by McFly: “A photo of an attempt at a writing session”, “Something’s bound to happen”. At this time, the actor did not want to advance too much and definitely kept the surprise.
A year later, it’s official: Feuilleman will indeed be a movie. The team set up the Feuilleman Instagram account six weeks ago to document the progress of the feature film.

The project is still in development, but Prime Video confirms it as follows: “Pierre Nin, McFly and Carlito combine the ambition of cinema and the creativity of YouTube to give birth to the first French superhero: FEUILLEMAN”.
McFly and Carlito’s video that sparked the idea has racked up nearly 18 million views, which bodes well for Feuilleman when it hits Prime Video.
