On Friday night (23), a 38-year-old individual was brutally murdered in São Leopoldo, in the Sinos valley, in the metropolitan area of Porto Alegre, receiving more than 30 gunshot wounds. Identified as Anderson Ferreira, the deceased had been released from the prison system the same day.
According to information provided by the Civil Police, the crime took place around 6.30 pm, in Rua Carlos Barbosa, in the Santos Dumont neighborhood. Anderson Ferreira had a history of murder and drug trafficking, having served a 12-year prison sentence and, according to the authorities, the crime may have been motivated by disagreements acquired during the victim’s detention period. So far, there is no information on the suspects.
According to police reports, Ferreira went to his relatives’ house, and when he parked the vehicle in the garage, three people invaded the yard and fired more than 30 shots at him with a 9-caliber pistol. The victim’s mother was shot in the abdomen, but her life is not in danger. The stepfather, who was present, escaped unharmed.
