“The Boys”: the third season debuts on Prime Video and receives the first label on Rotten Tomatoes

Season 3 of “The Boys” arrived on Prime Video this Friday (3). Initially, the series only released three episodes for the premiere, which in less than 24 hours has already guaranteed the show top marks on Rotten Tomatoes.

The famous American website is known for measuring the popularity and quality of productions based on the reviews and opinions of viewers. According to a tabloid post on Twitter, “The Boys” was awarded the Fresh certificate, the highest point the series can have on the site.

At the time of publication, 28 reviews had been calculated which gave the production an approval rating of 96%.

The second season of “The Boys” aired in 2020, which gives viewers a two-year wait for the sequel. Additionally, the advance for season three is also in Jensen Ackles’ debut as the Soldier Boy. The actor is best known for his role as Dean Winchester in “Supernatural,” which could help fans of the old CW series spill over to the Amazon show.

Following the strategy of other platforms, streaming does not release the episodes of the show all at once, releasing them weekly. With this in mind, the separate the exact dates for the arrival of each episode on Prime Video in another publication.

“The Boys” portrays a very different superhero scenario from what we are used to. Based on the comic of the same name, the series was created by Eric Kripke and launched its first season in July 2019.
