The Day The Avengers Script Was Stolen Samuel L. from Jackson and published online

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly (via Variety ), Samuel L. Jackson – who can now be found in the new Marvel series, Secret Invasion – revealed that his script for The Avengers (2012) was stolen from the Marvel Studios production offices. The company is being prompted to create a fake purchase after the stolen script appeared for sale online. Since then, Marvel has tightened security protocols, even going so far as to shoot down drones flying over their production lots in hopes of capturing never-before-seen photos and footage.

They shot one– said Nick Fury’s famous interpreter. “And they followed one to where the boy was. They found it and, yes, they got it.

The actor adds that there have been worse cases, including the infamous theft of his script.

I remember when we were getting ready to do The Avengers, someone printed a copy of my script with my watermark and posted it online for sale. I was shooting in Canada and Marvel came to Canada. It was printed in the production office… They found out who it was, the guy left, he left the country. They started buying a fake script, the guy didn’t show up. He was crazy.

Same concern for Emilia Clarke

Emilia Clarke, Constellation Samuel L. Jackson In secret invasion, is also well-versed in the field, the actor well aware of the lengths some fans are willing to go to get spoilers, as was the case with Game of Thrones. When he joined the MCU, he told EW, he removed the SIM card from his phone on set so no one could access his information. He also explained that Marvel’s spoiler protection was so advanced that even Game of Thrones was inspired by it.

When we were doing Game of Thrones, when we started moving into the later seasons, there were massive security changes.said Emilia Clarke. “I was talking to David and Dan and they were like, ‘Marvel.’ We only learn from Marvel. Whatever Marvel does, we just want to do it.’ So it became, you don’t print anything – and then there was Peter Dinklage and I, we were like, I need this on paper! I can’t learn my lines without being on paper!'”

And finally, if not for this The Avengers or Game of ThronesNeither incident dampened the success of the two productions.

Samuel L. Jackson and Emilia Clarke can currently be seen in Secret Invasion on Disney+.
