Walking Dead: Did you know the movies that inspired the spin-off Dead City?

There’s also a whole work on the music, which is a mix of a score composed by Bear McCreary that ties in with the atmosphere of our series and the tones of the 80s soundtracks.

Maggie as Ellen Ripley’s heir, and Negan in the shoes of a modern-day Snake Plissken… that’s the premise of this spin-off, which started a few months after the end of the main series and followed shortly after the show. Daryl Dixon series (this fall) and Rick and Michonne mini-series (through 2024).
