Ninja Turtles: Who Are the French Voices of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

Ninja Turtles: Who Are the French Voices of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael are back! After the live-action films released in 2014 and 2016, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back in the animated Ninja Turtles Teenage Years! The feature film will be released in theaters on August 9.

Kovabunga! The rallying cry of the Ninja Turtles will once again be heard on the big screen in this new version with a very comic book aesthetic that ushers in a new generation of Spider-Man. The animation fills our eyes with its flashing colors and extremely dynamic action.

For those of you who grew up in the 1990s, this animated feature will surely remind you of the childhood series that spawned nearly 200 episodes of television programming. We can also mention the live-action trilogy that was released in cinemas between 1990 and 1993, which still retains all the charm of the performances of this brilliant decade.

After two trailers released in March and last May, Ninja Turtles Teenage Years reveals its VF cast this time!

Who are the French voices?

Gerard Darmon lends his rocky timbre to Splinter, the Turtles’ adoptive father and martial arts master. This giant rat is patient, wise, and a little overprotective when it comes to what he loves most in the world: the four turtles he raised? like their own sons.

Sofian Zerman, aka Fianso, a double Superwolf, leader of a mutant gang. This highly intelligent humanoid bug is the leader of a secret gang in New York whose existence is shrouded in mystery. Along with a gang of mutant sidekicks, he hunts down a variety of high-tech equipment.

Audrey Lamm lends her voice to the ruthless Cynthia Utrom. Cold, calculating and ruthless, Cynthia Utrom is determined to create an army of mutants that she can sell to the government and won’t let anyone, including the Turtles, stand in her way.

On the mutant gang side we find Jerome Niel in Mondo Gecko Mondo. Even though he’s hanging out with Superfly and his “original” band, Mondo isn’t looking for trouble. He is looking for good vibes and loves to make others feel loved.

For her part, Alison Wheeler doubles as Wingnut, the bat. Needless to say, Wingnut is pretty scary. But it’s not his fault, he didn’t ask to be a cyborg mutant bat. In fact, you quickly realize he’s cute once you get to know him, and good luck keeping him quiet if you get him into anime.

Mr. Octopus slips into the skin of a mutant warthog, Bebop. He always wears glasses and is never far from his ghetto blaster.

As for comedian Marc-Antoine Le Bret, you can listen to him on Rocksteady. With his tank-like physique, the character is a mutant of pure muscle. Whether it’s his fists or his horn, you better not get hit by him. He and Bebop make a dangerous duo… but their brains are, some would say, “small, even for fools.”

A little surprise at the VF casting in the presence of the anchor of the newspaper TF1, Anne-Claire Coudrey. It doubles as a “journalist”. After the manipulations of the ruthless Cynthia Utrom and the repeated robberies of Superfly, New York City is in turmoil and the press is on alert. Reporters are on hand, as well as star New York anchor Anne-Claire Coudrey, France’s first TV news anchor to voice her American counterpart.

As for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Jean-Stan du Pak vocally interprets Leonardo, Alois Agasse is Donatello, Arthur Reynal plays Raphael, and Cillian Trouillard portrays Michelangelo. The turtle’s accomplice, April, is voiced by Janelia Koadu.

As they enter their teenage years, the characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird take on a hellish look with a modern twist. Directed by Kyler Spears and Jeff Rowe (Mitchell vs. The Machines), the animated film promises to be as crazy as it is explosive.

After years away from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neill helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they find themselves overwhelmed by events as an army of mutants turn against them.

It was released in theaters on August 9.
