“Star Factory 2”: how was the life of the project participants after 19 years

Elena Terleeva

Elena took second place at the “Star Factory”, passing ahead of Polina Gagarina. In an interview, Maxim Fadeev said that it was Terleeva who was supposed to become the winner, but the audience decided otherwise. After the “Factory” Lena disappeared from the radar for a while, but in 2007 she returned with the hit “The Sun” and “Love Me”. In 2009, Terleeva began performing with the Agafonnikov Band jazz group and did so quite successfully.

Now Lena continues to release songs, but she has not yet managed to achieve her former popularity. The singer prefers not to comment on her personal life, it is known that she does not have children and a husband.

Irakli Pirtskhalava

Irakli was one of the brightest participants in the project, his hit “Vova-Plague” on the show instantly made him famous. Then there were “London-Paris”, “Time”, “Drops of absinthe”. In total, Irakli released three albums. 19 years after the “Factory”, the singer did not disappear from the screens: he participated in the reality show “Island”, danced in the project “Dancing with the Stars”. The second wave of success came to him after the release of the One to One show, in which he tried on the images of various artists.

Irakli continues to speak. Last year, for a joint song with Masha Weber “Just Rain”, he received his fifth Golden Gramophone. The musician is divorced, has two sons, Ilya and Alexander. Now Pirtskhalava lives most of the time in Georgia.

Maria Rzhevskaya

Charming brunette with the hit “When I become a cat” instantly fell in love with the whole country. Masha almost reached the final, Maxim Fadeev predicted a successful future for her, but Masha chose love. Almost immediately after the “Factory” Rzhevskaya married a major businessman Vyacheslav Kormiltsev, left for London and took the pseudonym Masha Kaya. In 2006, the couple had a daughter, Elsa Frederika. At this time, Maria decided to focus on her acting career. She graduated from the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute and studied at the London School of Musical Theatre. The girl has several works in international projects on her account.

However, she found her calling in architecture. She graduated from the Parsons School of Design in Paris, then received a master’s degree from the famous Inchbald Design School and founded her own bureau SKETCH THE SPACE. Now Maria lives in Singapore and implements projects around the world.

Pierre Narcisse

A bright guy from Cameroon was remembered for his hit “Chocolate Bunny”, which allowed him to be on everyone’s lips for several more years after the completion of the project. After the “Factory” Pierre married model Valeria Kachalova, and in 2005 they had a daughter, Carolina-Kristel. The name of the musician resurfaced in the press in 2017, when Valeria accused Pierre of assault and filed for divorce. Former lovers went around all the talk shows in the country, talking about their personal problems, and then, when all the programs on television ended, they decided not to get divorced.

Now they are together, Valeria has mastered the profession of presenter and singer and now performs with her husband. Narcissus continues to release songs, but he failed to repeat the success of “Chocolate Bunny”.

Julia Volkova

The energetic red-haired girl did not last long on the project, but she does not regret it at all. According to Yulia, even at the “Factory” acting teacher German Sedakov told her: “Yul, why do you need this stage, the theater is waiting for you!” And he was absolutely right. The first success for the actress Yulia Volkova came with the project of Guy Germanicus “School”, then there was the series “Shuttle”, “Sklifosovsky. Resuscitation”.

In 2020, Volkova starred in the series “Patriot”, directed by a graduate of the first “Factory” Nikolai Burlak. The last major project with the participation of Julia is the series “Survival Game”.

Dmitry Proskovin

The young man was remembered for his song “Tai”. After completing the tour with the Star Factory, he failed to launch a solo career. Dima tried himself in the cinema, but also did not work out. Now on his page on the social network, he positions himself as a producer.

Evgenia Rasskazova

During the “Factory” Zhenya did not perform a single solo song, but this did not stop her from getting on the cover of the “Star Factory 2” album and going on tour with the participants. After Zhenya tried to build a solo career and in 2010 she even participated in the selection for Eurovision. A girl with the surname Rasskazova found her calling in literature – Evgenia published three books. Her first novel “ProLIFE. How to lie down as a star” became a bestseller. Now Evgenia teaches vocals and speech technique.

Gennady Lagutin

Gennady was not able to show himself brightly on the show, but this did not prevent him from making a successful career as a sound producer. For many years, the musician has been performing as part of the Guru Groove Foundation group, and also collaborates with popular artists.

Marianna Beletskaya

Marianna came to the “Factory” already with a good background: she sang in the “Singing Together” group, everyone knew their hit “Such as Putin”. Marianna showed herself well on the project, but after she realized that show business was not for her.

I returned to Moscow and somehow, passing by the temple, I saw an advertisement for recruitment into the choir. I began to sing in the kliros and at the same time work at the reception in a bank, because during my work on the stage my knowledge in the field of economics was completely forgotten. – Marianne recalls in an interview with Foma magazine. – And then I came to the choral studio of the Kupel center. And here I began to share with the children what I knew best – music, singing, and through this, now, together with these little creatures, I discover a completely different world.

Many of my friends decided that by leaving the scene, I lost and gave up. But for me, on the contrary, a new, very special time has come. I met my future husband, began to attend divine services more often, learned to pray, that is, I began to live a quieter, less vain and concentrated life. It was like I was getting to know myself again.

Christian Leinich

Christian was one of the most romantic and talented participants in the project. Especially for him, Maxim Fadeev wrote the song “Light it up”, which became the hallmark of a young man. After the project, Christian did not quit music and began to write songs. In 2009, he entered the Rostov Law Institute, and then joined the Krasnodar Chamber of Notaries as a consultant secretary. Christian lives in Sochi. He is married and has two children.
