Rachel Brosnahan, 32-year-old American actress, is all set to join DC. She has been cast in the iconic role of journalist Lois Lane in the highly anticipated film Superman: Legacywhich will debut in 2025.
The actress is known for several roles throughout her career, mostly as the lead in Prime Video production. The wonderful Mrs. Maisel.

According to the latest cast information for ‘Superman: Legacy’, the actress contested the role of Lois Lane with Emma Mackey and Phoebe Dyvenor, and ended up securing the role.
Rachel Brosnahan will play the love interest of Clark Kent, whose role has already been defined. David Corenswet, known for starring in productions such as pearl, The politician AND hollywood, beat Nicholas Hoult and Tom Brittney in contention for the role of the iconic Man of Steel. Corenswet will replace Henry Cavill.
With the leads cast, DC Studios presidents James Gunn and Peter Safran have yet to reveal who will be playing the villain Lex Luthor. The list of nominees includes brothers Alexander and Bill Skarsgard.
Released on July 11, 2025, “Superman: Legacy” will be the first film in the new DC Extended Universe and will be written and directed by James Gunn. Fans can’t wait to see how Rachel Brosnahan and David Corenswet bring these iconic DC Comics characters to life.
