Victor is determined to sell the savages
In the morning, Virgil confides in Alix about Victor’s proposal. The latter actually offered to sell him shares in the thatched hut for the ridiculous sum of €30,000. The gallery owner sees this as a great opportunity for Virgil to think hard. Although he doesn’t have the money, he especially wants to avoid defrauding his friend and return to work at the Savages. This page of life is over for him.
Victor, on the other hand, meets Laetitia at the bank to apply for a loan, pretending that he needs the money to do work for the savages in the coming days. Although it is quite possible to get a loan, Victor will still have to collect a file and undergo a certain number of medical examinations given his age. However, Victor has no time to waste. Irritated, he loses his temper and angrily leaves the office.
A few steps away, Manu and Thierry watch Victor leave the bank. Captain Leon’s opportunity to visit his ex-husband in hopes of learning more. Even though she is bound by professional secrecy, Laetitia explains to him the reasons for Victor’s arrival before specifying that she needs the money urgently.
Meanwhile, Virgil calls Claire and tells her about his father’s proposal. Revelations that do not reassure the nurse at all.
At the police station, Manu informs Commissioner Becker that Victor is urgently looking to borrow €30,000. The policeman thinks that this money is not for him, but to help Lawrence Roussillon. Indeed, the latter would be suffering from terminal cancer. That’s why he wouldn’t come back from vacation.
In the thatched hut, Victor is visited by a certain Monsieur Croisil, who is interested in buying wild animals. Enzo then waits while Victor shows his potential buyer into the building to question him about his intentions. Although she tries to avoid the subject, Claire’s father finally tells her that he is looking for a companion. However, he assures that it is not done and he is still thinking.
Upon returning home, Enzo informs Claire of Victor’s intentions. While Enzo has no desire to see the Savages fall into anyone’s hands, Claire doesn’t know what to do to help her father. Enzo then berates him for giving up.
The tension is palpable between Claudine and Johanna
Claudine calls her team into the meeting room. After losing four clients in the Delarive case, Claudine regrets that the firm’s reputation has been destroyed in just a few weeks. When Johanna points out that their reputation is primarily damaged by the twisted and unwinnable files the firm agrees to handle, Claudine replies that any case can be won as long as their own files are not sabotaged.
To say the tension is palpable is an understatement. As Florent tries to lighten the mood, Claudine informs them that she just signed a big contract with OCI. He also told Gilham that he had made a commitment to Elizabeth to keep her out of the case. A hit on a lawyer.
Noemi hears bad news
At the farm, Elodi tells Noem that her father has refused the organic label. Indeed, William thinks that in the financial crisis, people can no longer afford to buy quality products. Bad news for Noemi. As it is important to stop using pesticides, a young farmer has an idea to create a producer cooperative. In addition to sharing their experience, they will also be able to guarantee the price of their products.
At the end of the day, Noemi joins Akim, Ludo and Margo at the neighbor’s house and tells them about her project. During their discussion about organic farming, Margot imagines how to mobilize consumers. According to him, a system should be found to encourage consumers to buy organic products and investors to invest in the sector, for example, with tax incentives.
