Persaval first appears in the saga in the first episode of Alexander Astie’s series called Heat. Perseus is already showing an inability to create an effective plan against his opponents as Arthur and Leodagan observe at their expense.

Alexander Astie often described the character of Perseus not as a fool but as a child. His reactions, his ideas, and his behavior are child-like, interpreted with amazing efficiency by Frank Pitiot, who also starred in the movie Camelot – the first part.

Percival has two real friends in the series: Arthur and Karadok. The latter looks like his debauched friend and his comrade-in-arms (that says a lot considering their combat effectiveness). Percival has a deep admiration for Arthur, whom he considers the most capable of all. He is also one of his most loyal allies. He is also one of the most respected figures in the position of King of Brittany, which he represents.

Finally, the character has a hidden talent: a talent for knowledge and understanding that everyone misses, for example, knowledge of the number of stones in the Castle of Camelot or knowledge of the most challenging games in Wales. As for explaining the rules, this is not the case yet …
