This discovery should be a turning point in the series, as it means that the Geralt/Yennefer/Ciri trio will have no one to rely on in this raging war. And the Season 2 teaser that Netflix uploaded to the platform doesn’t bode well for The Witcher.
These images seem to indicate that Ciri will unlock her powers and possibly trigger the famous prophecy that states that a person with elder blood will be responsible for the end of the world… The writers would not logically go so far as to have two more ​After the season. ordered. But Part 2 should develop a little more mythology around the Princess of Cintra.
This second installment of Part 2 marks Henry Cavill’s farewell to the character of Geralt de Rive, as he makes way for Liam Hemsworth in seasons 4 and 5. So his final scene is likely to be particularly exciting…
