Jurassic World 3: 2 is a short film before The World After

Jurassic World: The World After is coming out of our cinemas this Wednesday, here are 2 short films you should see before the last part of Colin Trevor’s 2015 saga.

Released in September 2019, the short film Battle At Big Rock, directed by Colin Trevor himself, linked the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and The World After.

In this 8-minute film, dinosaurs land in our world after escaping from Lockwood Palace. After leaving the camp with the family, Andre Holland, Natalie Martinez and their children find themselves facing a family of nasutoceratops and hungry allosaurs.

This film depicts the coexistence of men and dinosaurs.

The short film ends with images of a child being chased by a composgnatus, a car accident caused by a stegosaurus or even a mozzarella swallowing an orc.

These images were found in Jurassic World: The World after the return of the Jurassic Giants during a report on the evolution of the world and are presented by the company Biosyn.

The World After’s first promotional video was a feature film prologue, directed by Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Sam Neal, and Jeff Goldblum.

Lasts 5 minutes, this video is not in Le Monde d’après. So this is not the first minutes of a feature film, but a short film.

We see several dinosaurs: iguanodones, allosaurs, triceratops, ankylosaurs, oviraptors, and pterodactyls around the body of water. While some are drinking quietly, two huge predators, the Giantotosaurus and the T-Rex, collide.

The glorious images that take place 65 million years ago and which are almost reminiscent of a wildlife documentary. Jurassic Park bows its head a bit: the camera stops at a mosquito biting a T-Rex.

After a leap in time, we find ourselves today in the company of a helicopter chase T-Rex. The dinosaur then invades the open-air cinema, terrorizes the audience, and finally escapes into the woods.

Two videos rediscovered with Jurassic: World: The World After, in theaters this Wednesday, June 8th.
