The studio Mappa released a new teaser of the latest episode of Attack on Titan last weekend, accompanied by the prediction of when the finale of the anime should come out.
For those in a hurry:
According to the study, the outcome of what is currently one of the most influential anime arrives in the Brazilian spring of 2023, or between September and December.
Watch below the teaser (which, for now, is only available with English subtitles) of the second – and last – part of Attack on Titan Final Season The Final Chapters:
What to expect from the end of Attack on Titan?
From what you can see in the new teaser, this latest episode will adapt the final volume of Hajime Isayama’s manga, which is chapters 135 to 139. So, you can expect the episode to last an hour.
In the manga, the ending was polarizing. Thus, one of the biggest mysteries regarding this final episode is whether or not the anime will make any changes to the original ending.
Whichever creative direction the production of the anime decides to take, the fact is that the outcome of Attack on Titan will be talked about, especially on social media.
In Brazil, episodes of the anime are available on the Crunchyroll streaming platform.
understanding of the title
At first, the title of Attack on Titan’s final episode may seem long and redundant. But there is a logic behind it.
It works like this: the first part of the final season consists of 16 episodes, which aired between the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021. In the beginning of 2022, the second part arrived, with 12 more episodes.
Currently, the final season is in its third part, which has been split into two longer episodes. The first aired in March 2023, while the second – which will mark the end of everything – arrives between September and December of this year.
