After four movies and a creepy mythology, the Supernatural franchise is about to turn to its final minutes. With the premiere scheduled for this Thursday (6), Supernatural: The Red Door puts the Lambert family back in the spotlight – now, with the direction signed by Patrick Wilson, the great protagonist of the saga.




In the plot, Josh (Wilson) and Renai (Rose Byrne) are divorced and the man, with no memory, struggles to rebuild a life that seems extremely empty. Their son, Dalton, goes off to college, further walking away from a relationship that never quite made it through. Far from his father, the young man ends up opening a terrible door to the past, throwing open a long dormant evil.

During an interview for Orange magazine, Wilson said that, despite missing, the end of the mythology is something necessary. Unlike franchises that almost become slot machines, the actor/director made a sober statement:

“I felt there was nothing left to do or say or explore with the Lambert family”Put. “I’d already saved my son, I’d saved myself, I’d been possessed… I’ve lived pretty much everything that can happen in a horror movie. So the big question I asked myself and also wanted to present to the audience was: “What happens to a family after ten years? After you’ve been hypnotized to forget all that trauma?” I wanted to reveal it”completed.
