It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Wednesday 5th July 2023 Episode 701 [SPOILERS]

Greg opens up about his father

At the institute, Elliot apologizes to Hortense. She loves his ideas, but she has to compromise to please Greg. However, he found a decoration concept that would be more versatile than a carnival of animals. He suggests to Hortense the concept of a TV series where each table corresponds to a series they love. Hortense is delighted with the idea. Reconciled, the two best friends agreed to do the fittings together in the afternoon.

Hortense then goes to the atelier where Greg, Mehdi, Lionel, Jasmine and Judy are cooking. She gives her fiance drawings of figures to create in sugar to place on the cake. But Greg categorically refuses. Hortense begins to grow weary of his decision-making for their double marriage.

As she is isolated outside, Mehdi comes to join her. He protects Greg, who is under pressure because of his father. But Hortense believes that she is not the only one making sacrifices. If he likes it, Mehdi promises to make figurines on the tricksters.

Later, Hortense and Eliot find Greg and Benoit in the studio. They look at the table plan they made. Eliot realizes that the bride and groom are at two different tables, and Benoit has invited two chef friends to his table. Angry that he’s taken it upon himself, Elliott reveals: There’s no doubt it’s happening.

Greg and Elliot go outside and argue about it. Greg is protective of his father, who means well. Elliot would rather leave than be worse. Eyewitness to the scene, Lionel joins his best friend, who suspects that he does not dare to confront his father because of what happened in Tokyo. Greg realizes that he needs to set his own boundaries with his father.

So Greg informs Benoit in the cafeteria that he needs to stop wanting to let things go. She just wants Elliot to be happy on her wedding day and avoid all the stress of the preparations. Benoit agrees to back off.

Meanwhile, Hortense and Eliot try out a roommate. The two friends are very happy to have reconciled and spend time together. Elliot also admits that he has no friends in Tokyo. He doesn’t really get a chance to enjoy the city because he’s too busy with work. And she doesn’t dare talk about it with Greg, who already has enough pressure from his parents.

In the evening, Greg surprises Elliot by offering to taste what he has prepared as a wedding menu, a romantic version of a candle. He takes the opportunity to apologize for not standing up to his father sooner. Just then, the couple is interrupted by the arrival of Benoit. To apologize for his behavior, he wants to give them a gift in advance. Together with Delphine, he decided to offer them a house in Tokyo…

Rose is hit by a stranger

At breakfast, Rose and Clotilda agreed on their program. In particular, they planned to go to the beach together, then go for a drink. While Clotilda is happy to spend time with her sister, Joachim admits that he feels a little neglected because he lives with them. But Clotilde comforts him.

At the institute, Joachim meets Antoine in the management office and listens from him. The deputy headmaster admits that he is still at the bottom of the hole because of the breakup. He has no choice but to immerse himself in his work to forget. Joakim then suggests that he go and have a drink together to clear his mind.

In the evening, Rose and Clotilda drink in a coffee shop. They notice that a man at a nearby table keeps staring at them. The latter arrives to join them to leave her number for Rose, just as Antoine and Joachim arrive. The two men turn around. Meanwhile, Rose admits to her sister that she still doesn’t feel ready to meet new people, but is flattered by the approach.

Enzo faces his first difficulties

At the institute, Enzo checks with Clotilda that she hasn’t changed her mind about the pop-up. This confirms to him that he will be the leader and that Tacy has agreed. Highly motivated, Enzo confides in him the two names he has in mind for his brigade: David and Billy. As the student leaves, Clotilda confides her suspicions in Rose. She fears that Enzo will not be able to reach her because of his disability.

Enzo’s parents are also relatively worried. But their son comforts them. He brings in Vicky to restore the truth and present him as the golden man without whom he would never have passed his protection.

Still worried, Malia wants to talk to Vic in private. Afraid that his son is not paying enough attention to him, he tries to make sure that he can count on him. Vicky promises her.

Enzo goes to the bank with David and Billy, who are both ready to join his crew. While going to get the ingredients for the recipes, Enzo crashes his chair into a shelf, causing many ingredients to fall on him.
