In April, Warner announced the production of a Harry Potter series that will adapt the seven books of the franchise written by JK Rowling.
In a recent interview with ComicBook, Daniel Radcliffe, who starred in the franchise in theaters, said the chances of appearing in the made-for-TV production are slim.
My understanding is that they are trying to start from scratch and I’m sure whoever is creating them will want to make their mark and probably won’t want to figure out how to make old Harry appear somewhere.
So I’m definitely not looking for it at all. But I wish them, of course, all the luck in the world and I’m really excited to have passed that torch. But I don’t think you need me to physically send it to you.

Fans of the actor can follow his work in the fourth season of Miracle workers, which will premiere next Monday, July 10th. All three seasons of the series are available on HBO Max.
After the movies Harry PotterWarner’s plan was to continue the adaptations of the wizarding world to the cinema with five films by Fantastic animals. However, the three films, which tell the story of zoologist Newt Scamander, were not well received by critics and fans.
Now, the new TV adaptation will air on HBO Max for a decade and feature a new cast that will play iconic characters from the franchise.
In a statement, Warner said the series will be produced with “the same love and care” as the original franchise and promises to be faithful to the storylines of the books.
JK Rowling’s involvement in the series has not been without controversy. The writer has been criticized for her offensive and prejudiced comments against the transgender community.
