Terri Irwin paid tribute to Steve Irwin on what would have been their 30th wedding anniversary (and Bindi got a sweet message too)

The legacy of beloved late crocodile hunter Steve Irwin lives on today, especially through his family, who often pay homage to the late TV personality. They mostly take the time to do this on special occasions, and recently Terri Irwin celebrated her 30th wedding anniversary with her late husband, and her daughter Bindi also shared a sweet message.

Steve Irwin died suddenly in 2006, an event that has certainly shocked many people around the world. So the loving messages from his wife and his children are always beautiful to look at, and the latter have been particularly touching. Terri Irwin took a Twitter to share a sweet photo of her and Steve on their 30th wedding anniversary, highlighting what a “deal” it was and still is:

The two reality TV stars got married just 14 years before their untimely death, but the love they shared is sure to last forever. Many would probably agree when I say that your husband would be incredibly proud of what his family has accomplished in wildlife conservation over the years. While she would certainly like to have her husband with her, Irwin’s matriarch can certainly take comfort in knowing that she is carrying on the work of the man who has brought so much joy to so many people.

Of course, Bindi Irwin has also proven to be incredibly sentimental when she wants to. The young woman, who largely took over her father’s inheritance, continued instagram to celebrate her parents and posted a funny but adorable photo of them:

Bindi Irwin, along with his brother Robert (who once introduced Jimmy Fallon to sloths), have often honored their father’s legacy in various ways, including giving their daughter a name that honors the deceased crocodile hunter. She has also written sweet messages and giveaways on his death anniversary, letting him and the world know that it is always on his mind. And when Irwin attended dance with the stars in 2015, she and partner Derek Hough delivered a beautiful and heartwarming tribute to firstborn Irwin who was rated 25 out of 30. Her father’s memories are even more touching given the late Irwin’s relationship with his own parents. .

When they’re not posting tributes to the late patriarch, the Irwin family are incredibly busy, as viewers likely saw on their reality show. Woh! these are the irwins. In it, they carry out their work in the zoo of Australia, where funny antics usually occur from time to time. (Episodes are now streaming on Discovery +.)

However, aside from the hard work they do every day, it is wonderful to see that Bindi Irwin, now married, is able to share these experiences with her son as her father did with her. I guess it’s something that, looking back at the relationship that spawned her offspring, Terri Irwin will likely appreciate, and I’m sure Steve would like it too.
