Warning, this article contains a lot of spoilers about the next episodes of Tomorrow. If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read!
Sandrine (Juliette Tressanin) and Morgan (Marie Cattrix) really experience the return of a special event in Tomorrow Belongs to Us.
On the set of Summer Vacation, Morgan certainly didn’t expect to see his life fall apart in the blink of an eye. It must be said that Sandrine has been telling lies lately and acting very mysteriously.
And for good reason, Victoire’s mother has long been leading a double life with a young woman named Leslie. A secret that gradually became unbearable, especially after Victoire surprised her mother by entering the hotel with her. Forced to choose between heart and passion, Sandrine ultimately chooses to give up on Morgan’s story.
A separation that clearly upset Gabrielle’s mother. Morgan doesn’t support the idea of living without the woman he loves, in a desperate gesture, then tries to end his life just hours after breaking up with Sandrine. A rash action that inevitably raises questions.
Did Morgan really try to kill herself, or was it a stage for Sandrine’s recovery?
Hospitalized at St. Clair Hospital after taking a high dose of anxiolytics, Morgan receives an antidote administered by doctors and is quickly removed from danger.
If everything at first suggests that he was really trying to end his life, his blood tests will quickly reveal that, in addition to the high dose of benzodiazepines, Morgan also ingested flumazenil. A chemical compound that reverses the effects of anxiolytics.
In other words, Morgan never intended to die, but actually faked a suicide attempt in order to leave Sandrine with him.
So, is it a good or bad calculation? Even if we are in the soap and that all the hypotheses remain possible in the continuation of tomorrow, we have no doubt that Sandrine will eventually learn the truth. Not sure if that will make him reconsider…
