WARNING, THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPHS CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR IT ALL BEGINS THIS THURSDAY EVENING ON TF1! If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read!
On Thursday, July 6, it all starts here…
Eliot and Hortense don’t get along anymore
Hortense goes to her roommate, happy to learn that Greg has finally settled things with his father. Greg talks about the gift he gave Elliott: a house in Tokyo. Greg admits that he really wants to live there forever. Finding herself alone with Eliot, Hortense tries to figure out how he feels about this decision, knowing that she does not feel well in Japan. Elliott prefers to tackle one problem at a time. He makes Hortense promise not to tell Greg about it.
Meanwhile, Jasmine, Vicky and Lionel suggest that Teyssier be involved in the double marriage decisions as a witness to the Mehdi. He offers to conduct interviews of relatives for a video editing, and then invites him to a bachelor party. But Teyssier has other fish to fry.
At the atelier, Hortense joins Mehdi and Jude in cooking. She’s dying to share Elliot’s secret with her lover, but he forces her to. Hortense then takes an interest in what Jude is cooking: it’s sugared almonds. Believing it to be too ordinary, Hortense offers to create personalized chocolates with the names of the bride and groom.
Later, Greg and Elliott stop by the atelier hoping to taste Mehdi’s cake. It shows them instead the personalized chocolates he made with Jude, with Hortense’s idea. After tasting them, Greg and Elliot confirm them. Along the way, Hortense offers to put heads on each chocolate. Greg thinks he’s overstepping his bounds and refuses. Disappointed by his best friend’s behavior, Elliot turns on his heels.
Outside the atelier, Elliot tries to understand why Hortense insists on imposing so many ideas that Greg won’t like. The young woman replies that she feels her best friend is standing by to please her fiance. Elliot believes he just has to compromise to make his relationship work. He criticizes Hortense for her efforts and begins to doubt the relevance of celebrating a double marriage.
In the dressing room, Mehdi defends Hortense with Greg. He reminds her that they are both going to marry original, somewhat whimsical people, and they love them for those very reasons. He advises Greg to reverse roles and put himself in Hortense’s place, who as a chef doesn’t even have a say in her own wedding menu. Greg admits it’s not cool.
At her roommate, Hortense celebrates her bachelorette party with Vic and Deva. Hortense pours herself a few glasses of champagne to forget her grief over her argument with Eliot. He fears that their double marriage will be annulled due to the tension between them. Vicky and Deva urge him to talk to sort things out.
At Institute Park, Greg and Elliot find themselves reluctant to go to their parties. Gregg takes the opportunity to make sure Elliott doesn’t go out of his way to please. Elliott promises it’s not. At the same time, Hortense arrives, completely drunk. He then reveals that Elliot hates Japan and that Greg didn’t even realize it. A treacherous Eliot declares that he never wants to see Hortense again…
Enzo is disappointed
On the way down, Enzo manages to climb the wooden platform using the ramp. But then he finds himself stuck in a hallway too narrow for his chair. David and Billy arrive to help her remove the chair wheel, which is locked. Enzo then gives them the green light to start cooking.
Seeing David talking to customers during a break, Enzo decides to take over Crocs. He opens the oven and takes out a plate, though it is too tall for him. Billy comes to give it to her. David returns and informs them that the customers he was talking to want to try Enzo’s surprise sando. The latter agrees to serve them even if the pop-up is not yet officially opened. Stressed, he wants to actively participate in the training, but drops the cup and spills its contents.
At the end of the day, Enzo joins Chef Armand in the kitchen and declares that the pop-up is not suitable for his chair. Clotilda suggests taking her cues slowly or asking Joachim for corrections. But Enzo realizes that he is not independent enough and loses hope.
In the cafeteria, Enzo confides in Vic about his desperation. This helps him not to give up.
Anais receives an incredible proposal
In the orchard, Theo and Anais discuss what they have planned for the summer. When Anais announces that she is going to be quiet, she receives a message from Teisius, who summons her to his office.
Teissier congratulates Anais on her defense and wants to know her plans for the summer. Anais admits that she needs to breathe. But Teyssier has another option to present her: a seat at a gourmet restaurant…
After dinner, Anais joins Theo in the kitchen and tells about her father’s proposal. Theo encourages the young woman to take advantage of this opportunity. Anais then tells him that Teissier has offered her to become the head of Double A with him. Theo is overjoyed.
Later, Theo meets his father at Economat. She tries to figure out what he means. Emmanuel states that Double A will be able to take advantage of their super chemistry in the kitchen. Pleasantly surprised, Theo thanks him for this initiative.
