Kyle Mooney shares a goodbye message a week after his big Saturday Night Live release

Live Saturday night Saying goodbye to several members of his cast last week at the end of his 47th season. News of their impending departure came just before the season finale, and now, a week later, Mooney has made an official farewell to NBC’s sketch comedy.

Kyle Mooney did his first appearance in SNL as an outstanding player in 2013 and was promoted to repertoire player two years later in season 41. The YouTuber and Upright Citizens Brigade member shared a instagram photo of him standing on the empty stage at 30 Rockefeller Center, thanking NBC and sharing one of his favorite memories. In addition to the short and sweet message with which to end his nine-year term Live Saturday night, Kyle Mooney shared a video of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, recalling a “great memory” with his friends. Mooney was one of the writers of a memorable animated skit from the show, “Middle-aged Mutant Ninja Turtles.”

Bryant faced his future in SNL in March, saying he would see how he felt at the end of the current season, but that he had already started branching out into other projects, including the hulu series Strident and lent her voice to an Emmy in the Netflix animated comedy Human resources.
