None of the fans of The Witcher series know that Henry Cavill will definitely leave the program at the end of the 3rd season. His replacement has already been chosen by Netflix, as Liam Hemsworth will inherit the role of Geralt de Rive from next season. !
But Henry Cavill won’t be the first The Witcher actor to change. Before that, the second character had already changed the translator during the broadcast… but none of the fans of the series noticed this change!
And yet Witch Riens—one of the Season 2 villains whose face was badly burned by Yennefer—was originally played by Chris Fulton (also known to Netflix subscribers for his role as Sir Philip Crane in The Bridgerton Chronicle series).
The character returned in the first part of The Witcher season 3, but the latter still appeared in the form of a new comedian, Sam Wolfe (Prince Edward The Crown).
There has been no communication from the platform about this casting change, which was apparently decided after Chris Fulton’s unavailability due to Outlander season 7 filming, in which he will play Rob Cameron.
The first episode of The Witcher season 3 is available now on Netflix, and you can watch the second episode on July 27.
