The midfielder will go on loan to play in Qatari football
Palmeiras signed, this Friday (7), the loan of midfielder Bruno Tabata to Qatar SC (CAT). With that, the player has already said goodbye to his teammates and is out of the match against Flamengo, this Saturday (8), at the Allianz Parque.
He does not appear in the photos released by the club from this Friday’s afternoon training session, nor does Rafael Navarro. The center forward also leaves Verdão on loan, but for American football, going to play for Colorado Rapids (USA).
The number 11 will have a one-year contract, with a purchase option of 6 million euros (R$32 million), according to UOL. His salary will be paid entirely by the Qatari club, the player’s new home.
The figure is just over the €5m spent to sign him from Sporting (POR), in August 2022. His arrival was expected with the possibility that Gustavo Scarpa would leave at the end of last year.
After scoring in the 3-0 win over Fortaleza, for the Copa do Brasil, in place of Artur, Bruno Tabata started playing little and getting overtaken. So he asked to be traded and the board acted quickly. There was an interest from Cruzeiro, but the deal did not go through.

Alviverde played 32 games in total, scoring just one goal and providing one assist. Of these 32, only 12 were part of Abel Ferreira’s team. On Wednesday, he and Navarro were on the bench in the 1-0 defeat against São Paulo, but did not appear on the pitch.
