While promoting the film, AlloCiné invited the director to participate in two of its “Top 5” shows. Danny Boone took to the game and voiced the episode titled “Disgusting Diseases” and “Diseases That Only Exist in Movies”. You can watch two numbers immediately!

With 5.2 million admissions, Supercondriac is the 4th biggest success of Danny Boone’s career as an actor as well as a director. It is preceded only by La Ch’tite famille (5.6 million), Nothing to Declare (8.1) and of course Welcome to the Ch’tis (20.4 million). And that’s just for France.

Supercondriaque marked Danny Boon’s second collaboration with Alice Paul, with whom he starred in Un plan parfait (2012) and later returned for RAID dingue (2016) and Le Dindon (2019). Similarly, he discovers Valerie Boneton, with whom he filmed Eyjafjallajökull in 2013 and who appears in La Ch’tite famille.

And sure enough, Kad Merad finds Danny Boone six years after the triumph of Welcome to the Ch’tis. The two men will meet again in La Ch’tite famille and this year they will respond in Danny Boone’s latest feature film Life for real.
