To be honest, this case made me laugh almost to tears! You have no idea! After all, it was incredibly unique, brilliant and, I would even say, a huge segment of Frank.
“I called steven and begged him to include it in the script. And he did, he heard me! The event [do beijo] ended up as part of the movie, not on the cutting room floor, which makes me indescribably happy,” he continued. Leonardo DiCaprio.
What did Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Garner think of the kiss in Catch Me If You Can?
After the end of the recordings of Catch Me If You Can, Leonardo DiCaprio praised the work of Jennifer Garner in the movie: “jennifer it was very cool. I think she was perfect for this role.” On the other hand, the actress recalled how the backstage of the kiss went:
It was magical. We kiss a lot. It was uncomfortable only for the first few minutes. So you’re going ahead and drooling over each other and saying, ‘Oh, you’ve got something in your teeth.’ I used some mint candies.
Himself Steven Spelberg came forward to talk about this scene: “After all, at the beginning something didn’t work out for us, the filming ‘didn’t work out’ as it should,” he recalled. DiCaprio. “I remember that steven got a little nervous, pulled out a cigar twice and then sat for five minutes looking up.”
“He was thinking about how to improve the scene. After thinking a bit, he said, ‘We changed everything!’ He completely changed the scene. He changed the hotel room, our lines… he added a moment where jennifer plays playing cards at me,” he continued.
Suddenly, everything was fine: the scene looked great and worked perfectly. This is another confirmation of his skill as a director and filmmaker.
