Known for romance and comedy films, Jennifer Garner will reprise Elektra in Deadpool 3thus returning to the superhero franchise, as reported by the The Hollywood Reporter. The character returns to Marvel screens nearly 20 years after his solo film, from 2005’s pre-Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Garner is known for several films, but mostly for Suddenly 30 (2004), My lovely ex girlfriends (2009), Miracles in heaven (2016) e yes day (2021). In addition, of course, to the above Daredevil – The man without fear (2003) and Electra (2005).
Made in the UK, dead pool 3 enters the MCU only now due to Disney’s acquisition of Fox. The feature film is highly anticipated for not only finally making it into the Marvel timeline, but also bringing back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The actor’s return as the mutant was announced last year.
The previous two films of Dead Pool, from 2016 to 2018, together they grossed over $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office. The first was directed by Tim Miller and the sequel was directed by David Leitch. The third feature is under the command of Shawn Levy (Adam Project).
