European leaders do not seem to understand that transporting the infrastructure of the Western North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) military alliance to Russia’s borders is a mistake, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
Peskov, speaking at the opening of a NATO summit in Vilnius, told a press conference that the advance of the Western military alliance in Central and Eastern Europe led in the first place to the current crisis over Ukraine.
