Box office: Elementos remains the leader in Brazil and Sobrenatural 5 takes the 2nd place

Faced with the Brazilian appreciation for good Disney animation and, of course, the school holidays, Elements, the new Pixar production, continues to lead the box office in Brazil. According to data from Comscore, the film released on June 15 dominates the domestic top for the third consecutive week, adding another R$9.33 million at the box office, which already totals R$33.7 million.

Finishing second is Supernatural: the red doorfifth film in the series Supernatural. Released on 6 July in Brazil, the feature grossed R$5.7 million in its first weekend in the country, surpassing Indiana Jones and the Relic of Destiny (R $ 4.7 million) e The flash (R $ 1.86 million) — from 6 to 9 July.

It’s worth pointing out that the data refers to last weekend’s box office in Brazil only. In the USA, Elements experiences one of Pixar’s worst debuts, with a launch well below expectations.

Elements from Disney tells the story of a city where the inhabitants are fire, water, earth and air and, faced with so many incompatibilities between them, a family must learn to deal with the differences, especially after a fiery young woman falls in love with a young waterfall.
