The premiere date of “Ahsoka”, the upcoming Star Wars series from Disney+, is approaching. And the new trailer, released this week, will excite fans of this universe even more.
The trailer brings action-packed scenes and rebels, points the direction of jedi Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) and even shows characters from another beloved series from the same universe – ‘Star Wars: Rebels’ – in its live-action version.
“Star Wars: Ahsoka”
The new trailer for the series shows previews of action scenes, spaceship chases in the galaxy and even lightsaber fights, which indicate a rebellion in the galaxies.
The video also features live-action versions of characters who already appeared in “Rebels”, but in an animated format: Hera Synndula, Sabine Wren, Chopper and Ezra Bridger.
“Ahsoka” villain Grand Admiral Thrawn also makes his first live-action appearance. Furthermore, the series refers to other productions of the saga, for those who are more attentive.
However, the trailer hints at Ahsoka’s past, which has already been shown in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” but has never appeared in a live-action production for Disney+.

The first two episodes of Ahsoka arrives on Disney+ to stream on August 23rd. The other episodes will be released weekly.
