Bob Iger Says Writers’ Strike ‘Isn’t Realistic’
One of the screenwriters She-Hulk,Cody Ziglarcriticized on his Twitter profile the speech of Bob Iger,CEO of Disneyreferring to the Hollywood writers’ strike. cody claims to have only been paid $396 for his work on the series.
Ziglar made a remark about an interview with Iger to the CNBC (via Omelete) The CEO stated that the movement of the writers and actors involved in the strike to affect the industry in the United States “is not realistic” and highlighted that these professionals are claiming better salaries and a higher percentage of royalties.
“The residual check from my episode of She-Hulkwas $396,” wrote Ziglar above the interview given by the executive.

cody also said, “I understand the desire of any labor organization to work on behalf of their members to get the most pay and be fairly compensated based on the value they deliver. We were able, as an industry, to negotiate a very good deal with the union of directors that reflects the value they contribute to this great business”
“We wanted to do the same with the writers and we’d like to do the same with the actors. There’s a level of expectation they have that’s unrealistic. And they’re adding to the set of challenges that this business already faces and that, frankly, It’s very disturbing.”
