In this new installment – the first of a diptych titled Dead Reckoning – Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet: hunting down a terrifying new weapon before it falls into the wrong hands and threatens all of humanity. . Mission Impossible 7 sees the return of a character on our screens that we haven’t seen since the first installment that came out 27 years ago. The franchise also welcomes three newcomers who will not leave the audience indifferent: Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales and the Frenchman Pom Klementieff. The film, which is still directed by Christopher McQuarrie, will have to do as well or even better than Fallout, the best film in the saga according to the audience with its excellent rating of 4/5.

For its first day of operation in France, the Paramount feature film seems to have convinced the audience, who on the day of its release and during previews – Tom Cruise was running like a madman and jumping off a cliff. One thing is for sure, every studio will be keeping a close eye on the figures of the Dead Reckoning installment, at a time when the big franchises (The Flash, Indiana Jones 5, Elementary, etc.) are disappointing at the box office. Tom Cruise can save our movie year once again.
