Oppenheimer is ‘the best movie I’ve been a part of,’ says Robert Downey Jr.

Iron Man? Avengers? tropical Thunder? Sherlock Holmes? Nothing! The best film of the career of Robert Downey Jr. is nothing less than Oppenheimerfilm directed by Christopher Nolan with premiere scheduled for next Thursday, 20, in Brazilian theaters – according to the 58-year-old actor himself.

During an interview with indiewirethe actor praised the production starring Cillian Murphy and ensured the quality. “I’ll just say this: this is the best movie I’ve ever been a part of, and I can’t wait for you all to experience it,” he said.

It is worth remembering that this was not the first time that downey jr. spoke well about Oppenheimer. According to information from FandomWire, downey jr. commented on his decision and motivation to be cast in the feature. “I was cooling my heels for about a year before the pandemic, just reconnecting with my family and other interests because I was consistently working,” he said.

but this was Christopher Nolan, doing something that was important to him. The cast was a large gathering of people who could choose their projects. And once we were underway, world events lined up in a way that turned this movie into an important metaphor that could speak to a number of things. So it was a pretty easy choice.
