Collaboration between Mike Flanagan and Netflix will always explode. After The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and most recently the Sermons de Minuit, the American filmmaker returns with a new series of horrors: The Midnight Club.
According to Christopher Pike’s novel of the same name, The Midnight Club accompanies a group of teens to a hospital for teens with severe pathology. These terminally ill young patients meet from the Rotterdam home every day to share horror stories at midnight.
Elsewhere, the group makes a deal that the first of those who die is forced to contact others from a later life, for a goose that promises to be memorable. In any case, this is what the first teaser of the series, which was released today on Netflix Geeked, promises.
The images show the characters wandering the corridors of this medical residence and finding themselves in the dark at midnight to play “Fais moi”. Exciting music and a terrifying atmosphere fill the first view of this series, which will be brought to you on Netflix from October 7th.
The Midnight Club actor consists of Heather Langenkamp, the cult hero of Night Clutches, who will play the role of the mysterious doctor, Zach Guilford, known for his debut in Friday Night Lights, but also Igby Rign. Already seen at Midnight Sermons.
