When I was still pregnant with Tereza, Thaila Ayala discovered, during a routine examination, that the daughter would be born with heart disease. “The doctor found an CIV (Intraventricular Communication),” the actress said, in an interview with “Fantastic”, referring to an opening between the two sides of the baby’s heart. The disease meant that Tereza, despite all the famous mother’s best efforts, did not gain weight or height during her pregnancy.
