Walking Dead fans can rejoice: The upcoming series off the franchise already has a release date, and “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” will premiere on September 10th.
The new series will star Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon. The character wakes up and he realizes he is in France and, not knowing how he got there, tries to find his way home.
The announced date is for the US premiere. In Brazil, the “Walking Dead” franchise is broadcast on the closed channel AMC and episodes are also available on several streaming platforms, including Netflix, Star+ and Prime Video.
The station also released some images. They show Reedus alongside other actors who will be part of the series, such as Romain Levi, Laika Blanc-Francard and Clémence Poesy.
There is no confirmation yet of when the new series will be available for Brazilian audiences.

“The Walking Dead”: AMC prepares other spin-offs
The Daryl Dixon-centric series is just the first spin-off that AMC prepares in the “Walking Dead” universe.
Of the other series, one has already been premiered: it is “The Walking Dead: Dead City”, which has already debuted on the North American channel, breaking ratings records. As in the case of the production starring Norman Reedus, it is not yet known when the episodes will officially reach the Brazilian public.
The second spinoff series will focus on the characters Michonne and Rick (Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira respectively) and will tell “an epic love story between two characters transformed by a changing world”. Production is scheduled for 2023, there is no specific date yet.
