Filled with tense sequences and hair-raising stunts that the studio has been talking about for months leading up to its release, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 features one in particular, featuring the menacing Tom Cruise on a stopped train. The latter had to climb in and out of a number of carriages which slowly slide off the ruined bridge.
A sequence reminiscent of the opening of a fairy tale game Uncharted 2Released in 2009 and a Playstation exclusive, Nathan Drake had to painfully extricate himself from a train that had derailed and stopped above the void.
Memory sequence…
A wink that didn’t escape Bruce Straley, a former mainstay of Naughty Dog studios, left for another horizon. In a tweet dated July 15, he posted a small montage of images that parallels the famous sequence between Nathan Drake and Ethan Hunt, leading to “The most sincere form of tenderness.”

If some people didn’t mind that a similar sequence was already seen in The Lost World: Jurassic Park, the Uncharted 2 reference/chapter is probably not a coincidence, coming from director Christopher McQuarrie. in 2015, he confirmed that the Rogue Nation action scene was inspired by the famous cargo plane sequence in particular.Uncharted 3.
