Avengers: This scene was filmed… after the premiere of the Marvel movie!

Indeed, the scene in question was shot long after production had wrapped, just a week before the film’s theatrical release, when it had already premiered two days earlier.

Very briefly, the sequence echoes a line more or less improvised by Robert Downey Jr. on set. When he came back to himself after passing out, Tony Stark actually suggested that his teammates go and taste the chavarms once the battle was over.

At the end of the credits, we can see the six members of the team, completely washed out, eating without saying a word.

Therefore, Joss Whedon took advantage of the presence of all the actors at the New York premiere and suggested that they shoot this last series. Looking a little closer, we can also note two details that indicate that the rest of the film is well shot.

Indeed, Chris Hemsworth’s beard has completely disappeared, and Chris Evans, who was then in the middle of shooting Snowpiercer, instead tries to hide it with his hands.
