In an interview with The Hollywood ReporterChristopher Nolan has revealed that, in addition to not having a cell phone and email, he wrote his film scripts in a notebook without internet access.
However, the director makes it clear that he’s not against technology, he just prefers to keep his distance, especially when writing, and he doesn’t need distractions.
My kids would probably say I’m against new technologies, but I deny that idea. I think the technology and what it can offer is amazing. However, it is a personal choice not to use it.
